ALAMANCE COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — A man is facing indecent liberties charges after an investigation by the Alamance County Sheriff's Office. On Sept. 8, detectives began an investigation into an alleged sexual assault of a juvenile that was reported to the Alamance County Department of Social Services. Following the investigation, Mathew Shawn Parrott, 35, was charged with 4 counts of felony indecent liberties with a child. Mathew Shawn Parrott (Alamance County Sheriff's Office) Parrott was arrested on Thursday and given a $50,000 secure bond. He posted bond and was released from custody the same day.
