HS Boys Basketball Wrap: Amos Whitfield scores 29 to power WWPN past Robbinsville

ROBBINSVILLE — Blake Amos Whitfield poured in 29 points, Ryan Jean-Baptiste added 13 and the West Windsor-Plainsboro North boys basketball team began its season with an impressive, 54-31, win over Robbinsville on Saturday afternoon.
Amos Whitfield and Jean-Baptiste combined for 42 of the 55 points the Knights (1-0) scored.
Frank Pagano lead the Ravens (0-1) with 12 points.
Notre Dame 66, WW-PS 55
PRINCETON JCT. — Will Foley paced four players in double figures with 14 points and the Irish (2-0) pulled away from the Pirates (0-2) thanks to a fourth-quarter run.
Musa Kamera and Wyatt Moore had 13 points apiece and Josh Gatete finished with 11 for ND.
Josiah Cureton led all scorers with 21 points and Cameron Jones added 16 for South.
Bound Brook 62, Lawrence 49
BOUND BROOK — Jackson Morrison netted 30 points, Dorian Roundtree added 17 and Bound Brook (2-0) defeated the Cardinals (0-2) in non-league play. Lawrence got 24 points from Marvin McNeil.
Seton Hall Prep 58, Hightstown 50
SKILLMAN — Chase Deutsch scored 15 points, Jason Whitlock had and Jackson White tallied 11 as the Rams (0-1) kept it close against the Pirates (1-0) before falling in a showcase game played at Montgomery High.
Primo Delgado netted 16 points to lead all scorers for Seton Hall Prep.
Northfield Mount Hermon 83, Pennington 51
WORCESTER, Mass. — The Red Hawks (3-3) got a taste of real prep hoops and went 0-2 at the Scholar Roundball Classic on the campus of Holy Cross. They fell to Cushing Academy, 62-48, on Friday in their first of two games.
