College Wrap: Big fourth quarter carries Rider women’s basketball past Stonehill

LAWRENCEVILLE — Gabby Turco scored 18 points, Winner Bartholomew added 16 and the Rider women’s basketball team snapped a six-game skid with a 65-53 victory over Stonehill on Saturday night at Alumni Gymnasium.
The Broncs (2-7) trailed after three quarters, but erupted for their best 10-minute period of the season by outscoring the Skyhawks (3-7), 30-10, in the fourth.

MAHWAH — Katie Fricker scored 14 points, Nina Branchizio and Cassidy Brown had 12 each and the Lions (7-2, 5-0) sank 17 threes on their way to an easy win over the Roadrunners (1-10, 0-5).

Ramapo 88, TCNJ 76
MAHWAH — Peter Gorman poured in 26 points and the Roadrunners (7-3, 3-2) used a strong first half to build the lead and hold off the struggling Lions (7-3, 2-3) in NJAC action.
TCNJ entered the national rankings thanks to a 6-0 start, but Matthew Goldsmith’s team is 1-3 since peaking at No. 15.
Nick Koch netted 21 points and Matthew Solomon added 16 in the defeat.
