Rail Yards hosts first day of its Holiday Market

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Holiday shopping is in full swing and early on Saturday, guests indulged in everything local at the Rail Yards Holiday market. Over 400 local vendors from around the city had their best on display to share with eager shoppers at the Downtown Farmers Market.

With so much to offer, it could be the perfect place to find the perfect gift for that special someone. "I got this really beautiful dry bouquet for my grandma – she'll like that – and I got this art print for myself. I really like the colors, I thought they were beautiful. We stopped at the Three Sisters' Kitchen here. We have to pick up a package of granola and breakfast things," said an attendee.
Officials say if you couldn't make it out Saturday, shopping will continue Sunday, December 15.
