Two people injured in I64 onramp shooting in Henrico

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Two people were injured in a shooting near Interstate 64 that closed an on-ramp in Henrico Saturday night.
According to Henrico Police, officers responded at around 9 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14 to the report of a shooting on the I-64 on-ramp from southbound Parham Road.
When they arrived on scene, officers located a man with life-threatening injuries and a juvenile male with non-life-threatening injuries -- they were both taken to local hospitals.
The Henrico Police Criminal Investigations Section has begun an investigation into the incident and the on-ramp will be closed until it is complete.
