Rain has returned with warmer temperatures in central Indiana
Dec 14, 2024
Good Saturday evening. Rain showers have finally made their way into Central Indiana and with that, temps climbed into the 40's this afternoon.
Tonight: Temps will remain steady in the lower 40s with widespread showers. Winds will remain breezy out of the SE at 10-15 mph, with gusts reaching 25 mph. Rain totals tonight will range from half an inch to 3/4 inch.
Showers will start to taper off by daybreak, with a few sprinkles possibly late morning. Clouds will remain in the forecast through the afternoon, and highs will reach 50°.
As we head into the new work week and the last full week before Christmas, temps will be above average on Monday. Highs will climb to near 60° ahead of a cold front. As the front continues to push to the east, showers will form ahead of the front and even a thunderstorm is possible. Temps will then fall from the upper 50's on Monday to the upper 40's Tuesday.
