MANAWA, Wis. (WFRV) - Community members could experience the miracle of Christmas with family and friends in beautiful downtown Manawa during the Miracle on Bridge Street on Saturday.
A beloved tradition in Manawa, organizers told Local 5 the hope is to bring the town together to celebrate the magic of Christmas and get into the holiday spirit.

"This is our sixth year doing Miracle on Bridge Street," explained Jamie Lane, lead organizer. "We took a pause here last year, but this year we just had a lot of things happen in Manawa, of course the bridge going out, which is really devastating for a community, so Miracle is back and we are bringing joy, hope, laughter, and love. All of the Christmas feels back to Manawa."
Courtney Zemple and her husband Kendell have taken their kids to the event year after year because they love to see their smiling faces while they participate in all the arts and crafts.
"They love coming and we love bringing them just to do activities and see everybody around town, and yeah just a fun little community event." said Zemple.
With over 20 activities, including a live nativity set, crafts, games, a cookie scavenger hunt, and more, there is no shortage of fun for the entire family.

"All of the businesses and organizations in town put on tons of different activities that people can find," Lane said. "There's horse and carriage rides, we have a selfie stroll, the grinch is here, there's mini golf, which is a Christmas mini golf with lots of glitter, there's elf bowling, and my favorite is the live nativity!"
The night ended with a parade at 5 p.m. and firework display concluding the event. For more information, visit Miracle on Bridge Street's official Facebook page.
