BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — Just because it's the giving season doesn't mean giving is easy for everyone, especially for families struggling in our area. That's why first responders are setting up toy and food drives at Walmarts throughout our state. Law enforcement had drives in Bismarck, Mandan, Williston, Jamestown, and Fargo. People could donate new toys, clothing, and food, which would then go to shelters directly supporting families and children in need. Organizers say drives like these are crucial in making sure that everyone -- no matter their financial circumstance -- can enjoy the holidays.
