Nate Scheirer's highlight-reel goal in the second period was all the scoring during a Saturday afternoon showdown between two of the top Section V programs. Both squads entered the "Hockey Fights Cancer" matchup unbeaten.
After a scoreless first period, Scheirer took a pass at the blue line and deked around a Panther defender, then sniped it glove side for the spectacular goal. It was his team-high fifth goal of the season in just four games.

Thomas (3-0-1) will visit Victor on Tuesday, December 17th. Pittsford (3-1-1) will hit the road to take on Spartan Hockey on the same evening.
