Saturday’s CIF state championships scoreboard

DIVISION 1-A
Edison 0, Fresno Central 0 (1Q) — Game in progress
Update: Edison at Central 20, 5:57 left, Chargers converted 4th down.
DIVISION 2-A
Palos Verdes 55, Twelve Bridges 19 (Final)
Update: The Sea Kings are CIF Division 2-A state champions. Soph QB Ryan Rakowski threw 6 TD passes to tie the state record for a championship game. He was 20 of 25 for 353 yards and no interceptions. This is Palos Verdes’ first state title in football.

Update: TOUCHDOWN: Sonora in full control. After forcing the first punt of the game, Wildcats run nine times and covert its third 4th down in a 61-yard drive. — 6:00 2Q
Update: END 1Q: Sonora 21, St. Pius X-St. Matthias 7 NorCal champs are barreling through the SoCal champs after 12 minutes. All 16 Wildcat plays are runs, and they’re 2/2 on 4th down.

Portola vs. Arcata at Fullerton High School, 7 p.m.
