PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- The Community Angels held their 16th annual toy and coat drive at Alvarez High School in Providence on Saturday. The drive asked people to donate toys, winter coats, gloves and hats. According to organizers, last year's drive collected over 2,500 coats and over 5,000 toys. Those in attendance got to get their picture taken with Santa, as well as enjoy hot chocolate, cookies and pizza. All the donations received at this drive are given to the less fortunate.
