SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) -- The name of the man who died in a single vehicle crash in Grant County Tuesday afternoon has now been released. Ice causing road problems in Lincoln County Ronald Lee Vernlund, 81, was traveling east on 149th street when his 2000 Ford F250 slid across the roadway, into the north ditch, then rolled into a field. Vernlund was ejected from the truck and sustained fatal injuries. The crash happened at 2:38 p.m. Tuesday Dec. 10., two and a half miles east of Milbank. All information released so far is preliminary. The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
