UPDATE @ 3:45 P.M. Edmond Police Department says the road is reopened. ORIGINAL STORY EDMOND, Okla. (KFOR) — One person is dead after a train struck a pedestrian Saturday afternoon in Edmond. According to authorities, police responded to fatal train accident near 15th and Broadway around noon. Police are investigating the cause of the accident. The identity of the person has not been released. Edmond Police Department say both directions of 15th and Broadway were closed due to the train being stopped on the tracks. Drivers are asked to find alternate routes until the roads are reopened.
