LANCASTER, N.C. – Three people died following a head-on collision in Lancaster County on Friday night, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
It happened around 10:25 p.m. on North Rocky River Road, approximately eight miles east of Lancaster.
A Toyota truck was traveling south on North Rocky River Road while a Chevy truck was heading north. The highway patrol said both vehicles collided head-on in the roadway.
Both occupants in the Toyota vehicle and the sole occupant of the Chevy truck died as a result of the crash.
No other details were released.
This collision remains under investigation by the highway patrol.
