ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – Wallington Fire Department will be hosting its annual community Christmas Fireworks show on Sunday. The fire hall will be open at 5 p.m. and the fireworks will begin at 6 p.m. While there members of the community can enjoy a bowl of chili and get a good parking spot to watch the show. WFD is located on 7863 Ridge Road in Sodus. WFD is asking local businesses and members of the community to help with the event. The general public will be able to show their support and the firemen will be "passing the boot" the night of the fireworks. Checks should be made out to the Wallington Fire Dept. with a "fireworks" notation on the check. Checks can be mailed to PO Box 57, Sodus NY 14551.
