FAIRPORT, N.Y. (WROC) – Perinton Ambulance collected food and toys on Saturday during its Fill an Ambulance drive at its headquarters in Fairport on Turk Hill Road. The event was put on to support the Perinton Food Shelf and the Pirate Toy Fund. Those who attended were also able to take part in a free CPR class. This year, donors provided at least 5 items from the Perinton Food Shelf’s “Most Needed Items” list or two small or one larger toy will receive a coupon good for a free CPR Class at Perinton Ambulance in the first three months of 2025. The event is a revised version of the annual food drive that ended in 2018 with the closure of the Tops Friendly Market near Perinton Square.
