MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A man was arrested this week after being accused of shooting his fiancée in the thigh and then unsuccessfully attempting to shoot her twice more back in November.
On November 24 at approximately 6:29 p.m., officers responded to a shooting call in the 1200 block of Hickory Ridge Drive where a woman had been shot in the left thigh.
Officers arrived and located a female victim with a gunshot wound. She told officers that she was sitting at her dining room table eating dinner with her two children (a five-year-old and a nine-year-old) at her residence in the 1200 block of Rosecliff Drive.
The victim said her fiancé Floyd Rogers, 42, (who is also the father of the youngest child) busted out the front window to her home and climbed inside.

The victim said she and her children ran towards the garage door as Rogers allegedly fired two shots at them, striking her once in the left thigh.
According to the victim, Rogers caught her in the garage of the home and pushed her to the ground. He allegedly put his handgun into the victim's mouth and pulled the trigger but it didn't fire.
Rogers then allegedly placed his firearm to the victim's head and pulled the trigger again but it didn't fire.
The victim told officers she ran across the street to a neighbor's home for help and Floyd chased her.

In her neighbor's yard, Rogers allegedly chased her, pointed the gun at her and threatened to kill her until the neighbor allowed her into his home for safety.
Rogers fled the scene and the victim was taken to Regional One Hospital in critical condition.
Memphis Police arrested Rogers on December 13 and charged him with attempted first-degree murder, three counts of aggravated assault/DV and domestic assault.
At this time his bond information is unknown.
