RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Businesses in Raleigh are reacting to the fifth Dreamville Festival being the last.
The official Dreamville Fest account announced the fifth and final year of the popular music festival held at Dorothea Dix Park will be held from April 5 to 6.

One record store owner told CBS 17 she felt Dreamville had outgrown Raleigh, especially with all of the congestion leading into Dix Park during festival weekends.
“It’s huge, and I think it’s just outgrown the area. And for Bluegrass, I feel like we’ve just grown in a different direction," Anna Cassano said.
Visit Raleigh said it is working to expand on Raleigh's status as a music hub. In a statement to CBS 17, President and CEO Dennis Edwards said:
"Raleigh has a proven track record of hosting festivals and music events with top-name artists and welcoming guests from all over the world. The City of Raleigh continues to have discussions with the festival producers about future event opportunities and we believe Raleigh's reputation as a music destination will continue in 2026 and for years to come. Festivals and concerts bring significant tourism and economic impact to the city, and with our community partners and stakeholders we continue efforts to attract headlining performances and events to Raleigh."
