GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - A fire broke out at an auto repair shop on Green Bay's South Broadway on Friday night. Around 9:05 p.m. on December 13, crews with the Green Bay Metro Fire Department were called to an auto repair shop in the 1100 block of South Broadway for reports of a fire. Green Bay firefighter Tyler Kreiter remembered for service, bravery after cancer battle Crews arrived to find smoke coming from all sides and the roof of the building. The fire had reportedly spread along a wall separating the shop and an office area, with the fire already reaching into the attic and roof space. After the fire was contained, GBMFD personnel remained on-site to extinguish the remaining hotspots and continued to monitor the building throughout the night. The GBMFD Fire Marshal's Office is actively investigating the cause of the fire. No injuries were reported.
