Man critically injured in Chatham shooting

A man was injured in a shooting in Chatham early Saturday morning, according to Chicago police.The man, 42, was sitting in a parked vehicle in the 400 block of East 87th Street at 2:49 a.m. when he heard a shot fired and felt pain, police said. He was shot in the hip and taken to University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition.No one is in custody.
