FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A free trolley service dedicated to delivering residents to festive destinations in Fresno is now up and running. The HolidayHop trolley will make five stops, connecting the Chaffee Zoo at Roeding Park with the Tower District, the Downtown ice rink, the Brewery District, and the Amtrak station at the Santa Fe Depot. Riders can hop off at the Fresno Chaffee Zoo to experience Illuminature's "dazzling display of lights." From there, riders can take a trip to the Downtown ice rink where they can enjoy ice skating, food, warm beverages, live music and vendors. The trolley will also make stops at Fresno's Tower and Brewery districts, where riders can unwind with local craft beers and cocktails and explore the culture of the city. The trolley runs afternoons and nights on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays; a schedule can be found online, here. The service will be available from Dec. 13, 2024, to Jan. 12, 2025.
