The Hopewell Valley wrestling team got its season off to a strong start Friday night when it beat West Windsor North, 60-9. Pinning in the first period for Hopewell were Thomas Davilla, (120),  Luke Caldwell (138), Max Pollara (150) and Konrad Haugeto (157) West  Windsor North North got nice wins from the deJong brothers, Evan at 165 and  Darren at 215. In other action, West Windsor South got a pin from Alexander Krapivin at 190, but still lost its season opener to Matawan, 64-16.
