ROCK HILL, S.C. – A Rock Hill man has been arrested and charged with crimes connected to the sexual exploitation of minors. South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson says investigators got an online tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about Elijah Demario Alexander. When investigators arrested the 22-year-old, they say he was in possession of child sexual abuse material.
Alexander was arrested on December 12, 2024. He is charged with 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, third degree (§16-15-410), a felony offense. Alexander could spend 10 years behind bars for each count.
Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force investigators with the York County Sheriff’s Office made the arrest. Investigators with the Attorney General’s Office, also a member of the state’s ICAC Task Force, assisted with the investigation. This case will be prosecuted by the Attorney General’s Office.
