ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Rochester firefighters rescued a woman from a house fire on Clifton Street. Firefighters on the scene told News 8 it started in a bathroom on the first floor of a two-unit house. It spread to the walls of the second floor. A woman was rescued by firefighters from the upstairs portion of the structure. There were no injuries and nobody was in the downstairs unit. Fire crews were able to knock the fire down quickly. The cause of the fire is unknown.
