ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – The Seneca Falls Police Department has announced that they will be using drones for monitoring and security purposes during the Wonderful Run 5k in Seneca Falls. According to SFPD, the drones will fly during the event on December 14 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. They ask anyone intending to fly a drone in the area during the event to report to the Command Post at the Seneca Falls Community Center in advance, as unauthorized drone flights may interfere with public safety operations.
