FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A driver whose SUV struck the back of a tractor-trailer near Atwater was dragged down the highway, according to the California Highway Patrol. CHP says the crash happened on southbound Highway 99 after the driver was allegedly texting while driving.  Investigators say the car struck the back of a trailer, became lodged, and was dragged to the next exit. CHP officers warn that texting while driving is a dangerous distraction that takes your hands off the wheel, your eyes off the road, and your mind off driving. The driver, who was not officially identified by the California Highway Patrol, was not injured
