Two accused of armed robberies, carjackings arrested: NOPD

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Two men have been arrested following an investigation accusing them of multiple carjackings throughout the city.
Arrest made in Warehouse District homicide investigation
According to the New Orleans Police Department, NOPD officers say 18-year-old Dillon McLendon and 19-year-old Vondell Johnson were wanted in connection to crimes committed over several weeks including:
An armed carjacking in the 2500 block of St. Ann Street and armed robbery in the 3000 block of O'Reilly Street in November
An unarmed carjacking in the 2800 block of Lapage Street and an armed carjacking at the corner of St. Phillip and N. Dupree streets in December.

The two were arrested on Dec. 11 officers arrested McLendon and Johnson. Additionally, officers reported finding and confiscating several weapons, phones, and clothing possibly worn during the crimes.
