ISP: Parker City man arrested for child porn

RANDOLPH COUNTY, Ind. — After a lengthy investigation, members of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force served a search warrant that resulted in the arrest of a Parker City man for the possession of child pornography.
According to a press release from the Indiana State Police, the search warrant was conducted at a residence on the 500 block of W High Street in Parker City. ISP said it was conducted by their Internet Crimes Against Children Unit, forensic examiners from the Digital Forensic Unit, troopers from the Pendleton District and assistance from the Randolph County Prosecutor's Office.
This resulted in the arrest of 32-year-old Dustin Paul Covert. He was transported to the Randolph County Jail and faces the following preliminary charges:
Possession of child pornography (Level 5 felony)
Possession of child pornography where a child under 12 years old is depicted (Level 4 felony)
Possession of child pornography depicting physical or verbal resistance (Level 4 felony)
Possession of child pornography where the child receives a bodily injury in sexual conduct or incidents (Level 4 felony)
Possession of, knowing/intentional dissemination of, or exhibition/the offer to exhibit child pornography (Level 4 Felony)
