MINOT, ND (KXNET) — Minot is getting a new optical office, offering expert eye care that's affordable and accessible. Eyemart Express will be opening its first location at 1511 24th Ave SW on December 16. Minot will host the fourth office in North Dakota, and the optical retailer is creating a dozen full- and part-time jobs, along with a competitive benefits package and training and development programs. Eyemart Express sells quality prescription eyewear with free same-day service as each location has an in-store lens lab and lab techs, meaning they can have glasses ready in as little as 30 minutes. The new store will have over 200 frames to choose from at an affordable price, including two pairs of glasses for under $40. They carry brands like Versace, Burberry, Longchamp, Tory Burch, and Lacoste — kids even have a variety to choose from including brands like Jonas Paul, Paw Patrol, and My Little Pony. City of Minot offers free disposal of extra trash and trees at landfill "There is a need in Minot for affordable, expert eye care with an emphasis on customer service," explained Eyemart Express District Manager in North Dakota, Angela Anderson. "Our new Eyemart Express store is an easy and convenient choice for eye exams and glasses, especially when people are short on time and watching their dollars. We're here to help the community see every moment clearly and feel your best — without breaking the bank." To keep with its corporate commitment to support local communities, Eyemart Express gives veterans, military families, first responders, healthcare workers, teachers, and other school staff members a 20% discount year-round. The retailer also makes donations to the nonprofit cancer research and treatment organization Stand Up To Cancer, and builds awareness of the mental health organization PeaceLove. Minot residents can either see Dr. Cameron Deschamp inside the store, or they can bring in their existing eye prescriptions. Over 1,000 insurance plans are accepted at Eyemart Express. Starting December 16, the store will be open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. but will be closed on Sunday.
