LUTCHER, La. (WGNO) — Deputies arrested a Lutcher High School teacher accused of indecent behavior with juveniles and sexual battery. The St. James Parish Sheriff's Office reported that Dwayne Thomassee, 50, of Gonzales, was arrested on Friday, Dec. 13, after an investigation into alleged incidents reported to have occurred between August and November 2024. Thomassee was charged with two counts each of indecent behavior with juveniles and misdemeanor sexual battery. Deputies said the investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information can call the St. James Parish Sheriff's Office at 225-562-2200.
