BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- The Bakersfield College Choir was at CALM Friday morning for a special performance. The choir has been busy, singing at countless events around town for over a month, and invite you to "A Master Chorale Christmas: Messiah Sing Along", an event being held on Dec. 17 at Harvey Auditorium. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. One win away: Frontier High School set to play in 2024 CIF Division 3-AA state title game Jennifer Garrett, Director of the Bakersfield College Choir, joined 17 News at Sunrise to talk about what it means to sing these classic songs for the community. "It's pretty incredible, we get to travel all over our community," said Garrett. "We love to be in our community and singing. We have already done a lot, we started in November." Those involved at the sing along will be performing "African Noel".
