COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- Sherrod Brown is coming out of the U.S. Senate, but not out of political life. Brown sat down for exclusive interview with NBC4's Colleen Marshall to discuss what comes next.
In his first interview since losing his seat to Republican newcomer Bernie Moreno, Brown said he is determined to continue fighting for the Democratic Party, and for Ohioans.
"I'm going to stay involved, for sure," Brown said.

Brown said he plans to be an activist for the Democratic Party on both state and national levels, with goals to redirect Democrats back into being the party for working Americans.
Marshall asked what everyone's wondering: Will he run for Senate in 2026?
"I'm not thinking about it yet. I've made no decisions," Brown said. "Seven or eight grandkids, maybe all eight are coming in for Christmas, so I got other things to do. I'll think about stuff early next year."
Marshall also asked about rumors circulating about a possible run for Governor when current Gov. Mike DeWine's term ends in two years. His answer to that lingering question, as well as his takes on President-elect Donald Trump, Ukraine and immigration will all be included in special reports beginning Monday at 4 p.m., only on NBC4.
