BEAUFORT COUNTY, S.C. (WSAV) - The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) is investigating a pair of shootings that occurred in the St. Helena Island area Thursday night. At about 7:27 p.m., the BCSO Communications Center received a call reporting a possible gunshot wound. Deputies responded to the area of Peaches Hill Circle and found one victim, inside his vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound. Deputies later learned the incident occurred in the area of Lands End Road and Scott Hill Road. While deputies were on the scene at this incident, they heard gunfire coming from the area of Scott Hill Road. Deputies did observe a residence that was shot several times, but no injured individuals have been located at this time. The circumstances leading up to these shootings are under investigation.
