NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) -- Virginia State Police responded to a crash after a police pursuit in Newport News on Wednesday.
Around 4:40 p.m., a pursuit by Newport News police ensued on I-64, east of the 258-mile marker. Virginia Police did not respond to the pursuit, but did respond to the crash of the suspect vehicle on Exit 263. Multiple charges were placed on a 42-year-old man, including reckless driving and driving on a suspended license.
No injuries have been reported at this time.
This crash is currently under investigation.
