Fun events happening in Memphis this weekend

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- It’s finally Friday, which means it’s time to look at several events happening across the greater Memphis area this weekend. There is something for everyone.
All this weekend you can experience the magic of Ballet Memphis' The Nutcracker! The show will be held at the Orpheum each night at 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $13.
Tonight you can join the Memphis Tigers football team at Zoo Lights! The evening will feature special player appearances and activities, including a fun holiday passport adventure for kids! Gates open at 5 p.m., parking is free, and tickets are $20.
Saturday is the Memphis Holiday Parade and Market. It will kick off at 11 a.m. on the corner of Peabody and Main. There will also be a parade at 2 pm on Beale Street. It's completely free and open to the public!
Hickory Hill will transform into a Winter Wonderland Parade and Festival on Sunday. The parade starts at 12:30 p.m. at Mendenhall and Winchester and ends at Ridgeway. The festival is from 2 to 4 in the afternoon at the New Direction Christian Church.
Also on Sunday, you and the whole family can enjoy a full day of creating your very own gingerbread house! This is hosted by Loflin Yard from noon until 4 p.m. Show off your holiday decorating skills! The cost is $23 per person.
