INDIANAPOLIS -- As Indianapolis prepares for the 2026 Men's Final Four and the Division II and III Men's Basketball Championships, the logos for the events were unveiled on Friday. According to a news release, the logos for each of the events feature "iconic elements and vibrant colors that represent Indianapolis and the state of Indiana." The logo includes colors inspired by Indiana sunsets, as well as the design paying tribute to the logos and the apparel of the 1990s basketball era, as well as the center court at the Market Square Arena, the site of Indy's first Final Four in 1980. The 2026 Men's Final Four games will be hosted at Lucas Oil Stadium while the Division II and Division III men's basketball championships will be hosted at Gainbridge Fieldhouse the same weekend. Officials said this is the second time that the NCAA will host its three championships in one weekend in the same city. “We are excited to be back in our hometown of Indianapolis for the 2026 men’s basketball championships – it’s special for all of us to have the Men’s Final Four in the same city on the same weekend as the championships in Divisions II and III, and we know our community will come out to support all of the fantastic student-athletes,” Dan Gavitt, the NCAA’s senior vice president of basketball, said in the release. “The Men’s Basketball Committees look forward to the magic the Indianapolis Local Organizing Committee, the Indiana Sports Corp and our hosts from the Horizon League and IU Indy will bring to college basketball fans in central Indiana.” Indy Ignite holds sneak peek scrimmage for season ticketholders According to the release, Indianapolis has the record for the most March Madness games with 163 hosted as of 2024. Indianapolis most recently hosted the Men's Final Four in 2021 after the entire men's basketball championship was hosted in Indiana because of the COVID-19 pandemic. “We are thrilled to reveal and showcase the logo as we look to once again welcome college basketball fans back to Indianapolis for the 2026 Men’s Final Four,” Patrick Talty, the president of the Indiana Sports Corp., said in the release. “Indiana is where champions are crowned and there is no better example of that than in 2026, when the city will host not only the Men’s Final Four, but also the Division II and Division III men’s basketball championship games as well.” Ticket information regarding these games will be released after the 2025 Men's Final Four occurs in April 2025.
