FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) The City of Fort Wayne has completed its leaf collection for the year. Street department crews wrapped up their efforts on Thursday. However, city residents who still have leaves they need to get rid of aren't completely out of luck. They will continue to collect biodegradable bags through the end of the year. Residents with bagged leaves are asked to call 311 to schedule a pick-up. The bags need to be placed at the curb prior to calling 311. In March 2024, the Street Department will announce two additional weeks for bagged leaf collection.
