BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- After collecting just .02" at the official Bakersfield rain gauge yesterday, a slightly stronger storm system is expected to impact the region this weekend.
There is a 40% chance for a quarter of an inch of rainfall for the Valley this evening through Sunday morning, with a few hundredths of an inch of rain in total.
The Winter Storm Watch has been upgraded to a Winter Storm Warning for the Sierra Nevada from 10 p.m. tonight through 10 p.m. tomorrow for 12 to 18 inches of total snow accumulation.
Yet another, though weaker, storm system is expected to impact Central California from Monday evening through Tuesday morning, with a 25-50% chance of rain north of Kern County.
