Snow and freezing rain into early Saturday morning is expected to impact our area. According to the National Weather Servicer, after a cold start to the morning, temperatures will begin to rise with snow and freezing rain likely before 4 a.m. Saturday morning, and continuing into the 4 to 5 a.m. hour. While little to no ice accumulation is expected with this first round, the NWS is expecting freezing rain before 10 a.m. on Saturday with snow and freezing rain to likely continue between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Chances will dwindle after  3 p.m. an nice ice accumulation of .1 to .2 of an inch is possible.
