Naperville Park District to update its ADA plan in 2025
Naperville Park District plans to review and update its ADA Transition Plan throughout 2025 to ensure that accessibility barriers are being addressed across the organization and throughout the parks system, a news release said.
Originally developed in 1992 in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, the park district last updated the plan in 2014.
The process involves “extensive community outreach conducted via public open house events and additional online feedback. Residents will be notified of initiative updates and feedback opportunities via the ATP webpage at www.napervilleparks.org/ada and the district’s social media channels,” the release said.
