TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - The woman who was killed in a crash in Tulare County earlier this week has been named by her family on a GoFundMe page. On Monday, CHP responded to a vehicle collision on eastbound Highway 198 near the Highway 99 interchange around 2:10 p.m. Officers reported a sedan was traveling eastbound on Highway 198 alongside a water tanker when, for unknown reasons, they collided. According to investigators, the collision resulted in the death of a 55-year-old woman. Three other people, including a two-year-old, were hospitalized as a result. The family of the woman, named Helen, is now asking for the public's support to cover funeral and medical expenses. "We have recently lost Helen in a tragic accident, someone who meant so much to so many. She was a loving mother, a loving grandmother, and a dear friend. Her sudden passing has left us all heartbroken," reads the GoFundMe post. The fundraiser page says the family is grateful for all the love, prayers and support and adds any contribution will make a difference in helping them navigate the loss. To donate, click here.
