HONOLULU (KHON2) -- A search is underway for a woman reportedly swept out to sea on Kauai. Her family said she was wrapping up her dream vacation. But right now, her family is living a nightmare. "Feels unreal to even consider that she's in this circumstance right now," said younger brother Jacob Neal. Family members were told 32-year-old Cameron was swept out to sea. They say she and her boyfriend were hiking on the popular Kalalau Trail. Younger brother Jacob Neal said family members have been talking to him. He said she went into the water to rinse off, then got swept away. They say her boyfriend managed to threw her a flotation device. Maui woman found in Mexico says she won’t be coming home "My sister said that she was in a cave last night and like some people on jet skis checked up on her and then somebody on a boat checked up on her and then they couldn't find her," said Neal. "I think that was like last night and like we haven't really had any updates since. We just know everybody's trying their hardest to look." Multiple agencies responded to the search for a missing swimmer off Hanakapiai Beach on Kauai's North Shore Wednesday afternoon. Personnel with the Kauai Fire Department, Kauai Police Department, Ocean Safety Bureau the U.S. Coast Guard, and DLNR all responded. They all resumed their search Thursday morning. Neal said his sister was enjoying her trip to the islands. "She mentioned snorkeling and I actually asked her if like what kind of wildlife she was seeing and then she was like mostly chickens and then she said that they saw some monk seals," said Neal. Cameron was wrapping up her week-long trip and was supposed to fly home to Alaska Thursday. "I would just like to see her again, let her know how much she's loved," said Neal.
