NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Clear and calm conditions are once again allowing temperatures to drop quickly Thursday evening and we will see another chilly night. However we will stay above freezing even in the colder spots. Look for mid to upper 30s north of I-12 to start the day on Friday with 40s to the south. Friday afternoon will be a bit warmer with low 60s. It will feel chilly though thanks to more clouds and also winds gusting into the teens. We warm up even more over the weekend to near 70 Saturday then low to mid 70s Sunday. Warm air sticks around through at least Wednesday. Overnight lows will only drop into the 50s and 60s. A front approaches from the north on Saturday and again on Tuesday. At the moment it looks like these fade out before getting to the area so rain chances will stay small at around 20% Saturday through early next week.
