Family displaced after fire in Virginia Beach

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY)-- Fire crews responded to a fire in the Great Neck area of Virginia Beach Wednesday night.
According to officials, crews were called to the 2000 block of Seafarer Cove just before midnight for the report of a residential structure fire. When crews arrived on scene, they found a two- story home fully engulfed in flames.
10 On Your Side's Raven Payne was at the scene and described seeing the charred remains of the once two-story house.

Four occupants, two adults and two children, as well as three pets, were all sleeping when the fire occurred. All occupants made it outside of the home prior to fire officials arrival.
Fire crews said one dog was accounted for, but said a cat and ferret have not been located at this time.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
