Union says Meow Wolf will begin layoffs on Thursday

SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – Meow Wolf, the company that created the popular immersive art exhibit in Santa Fe, is running into some financial trouble. The Meow Wolf Workers Collective announced the company will be laying off employees starting on Thursday. The last layoff was in April impacting over 100 people, including two dozen new Mexicans.

The union said the company asked employees to voluntarily leave. They are also requesting the board of directors to hold CEO Jose Tolosa and other leadership accountable for putting the company in this situation.
Meow Wolf has been expanding in recent years with new locations popping up in Texas, Nevada, and California.
