Tori McKinney and Mallory Heyer scored 14 and 12 points, respectively, as Minnesota bounced back from its first loss of the season by making quick work of Jackson State, 81-43, on Wednesday night at Williams Arena. Amaya Battle added eight points, five assists and five steals for the Gophers (11-1), who dropped their first Big Ten game last Sunday at No. 24 Nebraska. Taleah Dilworth scored a game-high 17 points for Jackson State, which fell behind 20-8 after one quarter and never got on track. The Tigers were outrebounded 45-25, and Minnesota scored 19 points off of 19 turnovers.
