WEATHER ALERT: Powerful wind gusts have eased a bit, but steady rain continues. Flood Watch remains in effect with some street and poor drainage flooding.

Flood Watch remains in effect for our area even though rain is ending. Street and poor drainage flooding and some streams and brooks could overflow their banks.

The river is currently at 8.9 feet with a forecast crest of 9.2 overnight, which is at very minor flood stage. However we are still tracking steady rain at this hour and we will continue to monitor this and other rivers.
