FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) -- Multiple crashes on Hillegas Road stalled traffic in the area Wednesday night. A WANE 15 crew spotted two crashes along Hillegas Road, with one happening on the overpass for U.S. 30 and the other happening next to the Interstate 69 overpass where California and Hillegas roads intersect. At one point, Google Maps showed the crashes caused traffic delays on Hillegas Road between Washington Center Road and Coliseum Boulevard. By 8:00 p.m., the website showed traffic had returned to normal. Below zero morning wind chills Multiple WANE 15 crews, as well as the Huntington Police Department, have reported slick conditions along bridges and overpasses as temperatures start to plummet. It is unclear if anyone suffered injuries in the crashes.
