UPDATE: Male in custody after barricading himself in East El Paso apartment

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) - A male suspect is in custody after he barricaded himself on Wednesday, Dec. 11 in an apartment complex in East El Paso as U.S. Marshals were trying to serve a warrant.
U.S. Marshals requested the El Paso Police Department (EPPD) and SWAT assistance on Wednesday, as they were serving a warrant at 7900 Viscount Blvd. at the La Estancia apartments, and the suspect was refusing to exit the apartment.

U.S. Marshals said the male made his way to the roof and scaled down the side of the apartment where members of the Lone Star Fugitive Task Squad and EPPD SWAT apprehended him.

The male has not been identified at this time, the U.S. Marshals said.
