The driver of the Lexus attempted to accelerate to road speed, but did not see the stopped vehicles in front of him, and collided with the CRV in a rear-end collision. The crash pushed the CRV into the Caravan, and the Caravan into the Ram.
No injuries were reported during the collision, but traffic on Interstate 94 was delayed for an hour while emergency crews investigated the crash and cleared all involved vehicles.
The driver of the Lexus — a 40-year-old man from Fargo — was arrested for Driving Under the Influence, and charged with DUI, as well as possession of both THC products and marijuana paraphernalia. The crash currently remains under investigation.
